Our Services

We are here to help all people. To eliminate barriers, In-Home Counseling for Seniors provide services in the comfort and privacy of the individual's residence.Often, it is hard to handle the changes that come with advancing age. Illness, the loss of independence, the stress of caring for a loved one, and other issues can cause depression, anxiety, and emotional difficulties. Untreated, such depression and anxiety can lead to isolation, panic, lack of interest in caring for self, and increased physical deterioration. Many seniors and those with chronic illness are unable to access mental health treatment due to physical limitations, lack of transportation, or caregiving issues. Often, they may be unwilling to travel to a therapist’s office to receive the treatment they need and deserve.

To eliminate these barriers, In-Home Counseling for Seniors provides services in the comfort and privacy of the individual’s residence. We can provide support and help the individual regain their sense of self and well-being.

At the initial session a thorough assessment will be conducted with the client, to determine their physical, emotional, environmental and social needs, their goals, their support systems, and level of functioning. In partnership with the client, we will assist them in resolving areas of distress, developing positive coping skills and stress-relieving techniques, and improving overall functioning.

It is important to remember that depression and anxiety are not natural parts of the aging process, and can lead to greater difficulties if left untreated. We can help the senior to resolve these issues in a supportive, positive manner in the comfort of their own home.

As Licensed Clinical Social Workers and approved Medicare providers, we have experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment to illness, isolation, caregiver issues, family difficulties, and transitional life changes. We can help provide seniors with the necessary skills, support, and psychotherapy services to improve their quality of life and wellbeing

Appointments are available days, evenings, and weekends.
